LA GEMMA DELL'EST

Set in exotic tropical gardens, La Gemma
Dell’Est lies on the north western shore of
the island. This luxurious resort has a
total of 152 terraced rooms, all with sea
views. The 3 restaurants, 3 bars and café,
offer international and local cuisine,
combining great service with culinary
excellence.
The convention centre is built around two
Baobab trees and caters to all conference,
meeting, banqueting and incentive
requirements. Organising and catering
services are available along with premium
table settings, meeting amenities and the
latest audio video systems. The Baobab
meeting rooms are the venue of choice for
business meetings and intimate social
events, accommodating up to 200 people for
sit down functions and 250 for cocktail
receptions. The Grand Baobab Ballroom
divides into 3 separate rooms and is fitted
with sound proofed walls. A board room
offers the latest facilities and a pre
function area is also available.
Additional facilities also include several
swimming pools, diving and watersports
facilities, boutique, hairdresser, first aid
in house clinic and on call doctor, baby
sitting, laundry/valet service, African Rain
Mvua Spa, gymnasium, tennis court and
sailing. |

All meeting and board rooms feature video
projection screens and video projectors with
portable screens. Other projectors are
available on request. |

allow speech peaks, without any distortion
and provide a smooth uniform coverage of
sound throughout the function areas. Each
function area is wired separately, with
sound switched through an audio matrix. Each
area carries one common sound or its own
sound. |
